AAB architects, together with urban designer Tom Young and artists Snug and Outdoor, organised a public event in Peter Pan Park, Holloway, to engage the imagination of local residents and park users of all ages. The event was structured to allow people to take part in the creative act of imagining future scenarios and uses for the park. Activities like the ‘sand boxes’ were planned to enable people to literally re-shape the park, while thinking through issues such as opening up the park, access through it, the needs of the local community and the many- sometimes conflicting- wishes regarding use.
